Studying the viewer amount, I would say that it is a valid question. The first season had an average of 14 million people watching the episodes, the second season had an average of 12 million people watching the episodes, while the third season had an average of 10 million people. If that decline continues, one should expect about 8 millions people watching the different episodes of Madam Secretary season 4. And I have my doubts about whether or not CBS wants to continue producing a sinking ship.
