Have you read the fantastic books about the Norwegian detective Harry Hole, written by Jo Nesbø? Would you like to watch some Harry Hole movies on Netflix? Can it be done?
The movie “The Snowman”, featuring Michael Fassbender as Harry Hole, just hit the cinemas worldwide. This was the first Hollywood production of Harry Hole, and if you get the point, you can not watch this movie on Netflix yet. And since there are no other big Harry Hole movie productions, you can not stream other Harry Hole movies either on Netflix.
But, that doesn’t have to be the reality for a long time. First of all, we will have to hope that The Snowman will become a success worldwide, at least big enough success for the producers to make one more movie. And then, hopefully, Universal will sell the rights to broadcast The Snowman to Netflix, at least in certain regions, and thus we will be able to stream The Snowman on Netflix in maybe 6-8 months from now.

I love Harry Hole, but I can’t stand The Snowman.Such a terrible movie, a disgrace to Jo Nesbo and the real character of Harry Hole. So sad that they ruined the entire “series” with such a bad first movie. Universal will never want to create a second movie after this….
