Coming to Canadian Netflix August 2017

Summer is soon over, but we still got August. Here is a list presenting the movies and TV series coming to Canadian Netflix in August. We sure got a lot to look forward to.

Every month I read through lists showing movies coming to US Netflix, HBO Now, Amazon Prime, Hulu and so on. The list I look most forward to see is the list presenting content coming to Canadian Netflix. The reason is simple, the best content often arrives at Netflix in Canada first. In July Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was released on Canadian Netflix together with other great movies, and in August we got lots of new stuff to look forward to. Take a look at the complete list, and read my further comments on the list further down.

Highlights from the “Coming to Netflix in Canada in August 2017” list

Have you looked through the list? Did you find anything that you look forward to? I found quite a lot, and here I will tell you which movies and TV series I look forward to the most.

On the first day of August, the movie Jackie will be added to Canadian Netflix. This is an Academy Awarded movie featuring Natalie Portman as Jackie Kennedy. She has received lots of praise for her role, so if you like a good drama and Natalie Portman, this is a must-see in August.

Later in August, you can watch The Founder on Canadian Netflix. This is the story about Ray Croc, the founder of The Founder on Canadian Netflix. This is the story about Ray Croc, the founder of McDonald’s. Creating the giant McDonalds empire wasn’t an easy thing to do, but in this movie, you can get to know more about how it was done.

The next movie I want to emphasize is Hook. I guess that shouldn’t really be on the list, but it just makes me a bit nostalgic, as I really loved the movie when I was younger. Follow the story of Peter Pan and Captain Hook in this fantastic family movie made a long time ago.

Lots of James Spader fans have been waiting for the fourth season of the Blacklist to come to Canadian Netflix. The wait will be over in the middle of August, so get ready to see what happens in the new season of this NBC series.

The Intern is a Hollywood blockbuster that will come to Canadian Netflix in August as well. In this movie, Robert de Niro is hired to a company, simply because he is old, and old people can have a good effect on modern, fast-paced companies. The company is run by Anna Hathaway, who really needs some stability in her life. A nice movie for those who haven’t seen it yet.

Have you ever thought about praying? Do you think anything really happens as you pray? Why don’t you take a look at the movie War Room? It is a really interesting movie, that for sure will touch your heart, and maybe even make you pray a prayer or ten.

A couple of months ago I watched the movie Allied with Brad Pitt. I didn’t like it that much, in fact, I found it to be quite boring. But, the one I watched it with liked it a lot, and most other people I have spoken to enjoyed the story as well. Get a glimpse into the life of a spy as you watch Allied on Canadian Netflix.

Ex Machina was a heavily praised movie, and it still is. Alicia Wikander plays the role as a robot who turns more and more like human beings. How far can her intelligence get? Can she seduce the boy who has gotten a role watching out for her?

  1. The Butler seems to be a fantastic movie. Not the typical popular movie, but it seems to be a movie with a story, and with lots of fantastic actors. I am gonna watch The Butler on Netflix in August…
