God’s Not Dead is a Christian drama which was released in 2014 and it was directed by Harold Cronk. The movie stars Shane Harper as Josh Wheaton, Kevin Sorbo as Professor Jeffery Radisson, David A.R. White as Reverend Dave, Trisha LaFache as Amy Ryan and so on.
The movie shows and follows the story of a young present day college fresh man Josh Wheaton. Josh Wheaton is an evangelical college student who takes philosophy classes held by Professor Jeffery Radisson who is an atheist. The professor demands his students to write a declaration that God’s Not Dead in order to pass. Harper is the only one who refuses to sign so the professor tells him to prove the existence of God and if he can not he will fail. That is the very first occasion Harper has to stand up for his beliefs front of the whole class and he has to convince his class mates that God exists and he wonders if it is worth fighting for and how he can prove his beliefs to the others. In the movie the famous Christian band Newsboys appears too and the movie ends with Newsboys congratulating Josh with a video and then the band plays their song God’s not Dead dedicated to Josh.
