One of the top films according to many in 2014 was Nightcrawler. In the film you can follow Jake Gyllenhaal as he tries to become the number one photo reporter in the city, and to become the best, he needs to do quite a lot of things not really allowed.
Nightcrawler is a quite dark film and Jake Gyllenhaal playing Lou Bloom was praised by critics worldwide for his role in the film. He delivers material to Rene Russo (Nina) who takes care of the material, pays good money, and makes sure that it can be seen on newscasts at prime time.
The film itself is interesting, but somehow I did not like it at all. I am not really sure why, because I had really big expectations to this film because of all the good critics, but again, I was bored and looked forward to the film coming to an end.
