Noah on US Netflix

Noah on NetflixNoah is an American biblical drama which was released in 2014 and it was directed by Darren Aronofsky. The movie is inspired by the biblical story of Noah’s Ark from the Book of Genesis from the Bible.

The main characters in the movie are Russell Crowe as Noah, Jennifer Connelly as Naameh, who is Noah’s wife, Ray Winstone as Tubal-cain who is the descendant of Cain, Douglas Booth as Shem who is the son of Noah, Emma Watson as Ila who is Noah’s daughter-of-law and the wife of Shem, Logan Lerman as Ham who is Noah’s son, Anthony Hopkins as Methuselah who is Noah’s Grandfather and so on.

The film shows the biblical story of Noah and his family before, during and after the great flood on Earth. Noah since he was a child saw various visions and he always knew he was different, the film follows how Noah realises what he has to do and how and his all family face the struggle to defend their selfs.

The movie Noah generally received positive critics and feedbacks. The story of the film is one of the most known, and also one of the most thrilling stories in the Old Testament which gave a perfect base for an exciting movie as well.

If you want to watch the film it is worth knowing that it mostly has nothing to do with the biblical story of Noah. So much is added and removed from the Biblical version, that this is more of a Hollywood film using the same name of the character and borrowing parts of the biblical story, but that is all!
