Summer is here and it is nothing like watching a great movie on a nice summer day. But, have you got the feeling that you have watched everything and you have no clue what to watch? Here I will recommend 19 movies that you can all stream on Netflix in the United States.
Many of these movies are Netflix original productions. This means you can stream them in every single Netflix region all across the world. But, other movies can only be streamed on Netflix in the United States, and if you find a movie in this video that you want to stream but cannot find it in your own Netflix region, follow these instructions to get access to American Netflix.

Maybe you wonder why I included 19 movies in this list and not 20? Well, there is no good answer to that question, but I am quite sure that you will find something of interest in this list.
There are quite a lot of action movies and superhero movies on the list, but you will also see very different movies, for example Lion, an Oscar awarded movie telling the story of a boy in India managing life on his own during childhood. There is also the popular Netflix documentary about the Fyre festival, and if you like Big Mac, you will for sure enjoy the movie named The Founder, about the founder of McDonald’s named Ray Kroc.

19 movies – because it is 2019
Well, it wasn’t a coincidence with the 19 selected movies after all. When you think about it, we are in the year 2019, so what better than to select 19 movies for you to watch celebrating it is the summer of 2019?
Once again, quite a lot of the movies are Netflix original movies, for example, Bird Box, Murder Mystery, and Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle. But, I have also included some older movies, and one of my favorites can be streamed on US Netflix, About Time. This is the story of a boy who can turn back time by stepping into the closet. But, it isn’t that easy just turning back time, so we get to see his struggles. Once you have seen About Time, maybe you should turn over to see the highlights on Amazon Prime this summer. A brand new movie named Time Freaks can be streamed on Amazon Prime and it has a very similar story to this one!
