At the moment, you can only stream Collateral Beauty on Scandinavian Netflix, that is if you reside in Norway, Sweden, Denmark of Finland. For a long time I had a working method that would help you get access to Norwegian Netflix from abroad, but unfortunately, that method doesn’t seem to work anymore. In other words, if you live in one of these nations, enjoy this great opportunity to stream Collateral Beauty on Netflix. If you do not reside in any of these nations, look around for a walk-around, or wait for Collateral Beauty to arrive on Netflix in the nation you are currently in.

In Collateral Beauty we meet Will Smith. He is extremely sad, and angry at the universe for treating him the way it has. But, what is the solution? He needs to look to himself, and he gets some help along the way.

If you haven’t seen Collateral Beauty yet, hurry up and watch it on Netflix (or somewhere else). It is absolutely worth watching!

The Dressmaker on NetflixThe Dressmaker is a movie from 2015 starring Kate Winslet. She has received lots of praise for her role, even though the movie itself has gotten mixed critics.

I remember watching the movie on Amazon Prime and at the start of the movie I saw the text presenting the movie as an Amazon Original. For that reason, I never expected The Dressmaker to come to Netflix. In the same way original Netflix content never turns available on Amazon Prime, I did not expect Amazon original content to turn available on Netflix. But, I was kind of wrong. The Dressmaker is now available on Netflix.

One of the reasons for this to happen, is probably the fact that The Dressmaker wasn’t distrubuted entirely by Amazon Studious alone, but it was a cooperation with Universal Pictures and Broad Green pictures. It is most likely what makes The Dressmaker available on Netflix at the moment.

Is The Dressmaker worth watching?

The movie in itself is a beauty, but it is slow, and you need some patience and love for dramas in order for this to be a movie you will enjoy. It did not become a new favorite of mine, but I still admire Kate Winslett for her role in the movie.

Would you like to get access to Norwegian Netflix abroad with Norwegian subtitles, Norwegian voices (sometimes) and with all the films available on Norwegian Netflix? This is how it is done!

It isn’t always that easy to get access to Norwegian Netflix because lots of VPN providers are blocked, making sure that whenever you visit Netflix.com using them you will only get the annoying proxy error message whenever you try to start watching an actual film. But there are ways in which you can still get access to Norwegian Netflix abroad, and this is how it is done!

Get access to Norwegian Netflix

To get access to Norwegian Netflix you will need a subscription to Surfshark VPN.

Visit Surfshark VPN(and watch Norwegian Netflix)
  • Visit their website by clicking the button above.
  • Sign up for their services and download the Surfshark VPN client to your tablet, mobile or computer.
  • Start the app and connect to a server in Norway.
  • Restart your Netflix application/browser and visit Netflix.com.
  • You should now be able to access Norwegian Netflix.

August 2020 update: This does work – enjoy watching!

If you purchase a subscription to Surfshark VPN, you can also get access to the content in 14 other countries. That is quite extreme. But, do not forget that things might get complicated if your Netflix account is registered in an EU country due to the new EU regulations for streaming services as of 2019. San Andreas on netflixSan Andreas is a disaster film from 2015 describing the worst day in history as their is a big earthquake and the citizens of California is in deep trouble. Now you can watch San Andreas on Netflix.

San Andreas is currently available on Netflix in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, so if you want to watch it on Netlfix, then you will have to chance to one of those regions. That is however not really that easy anymore so you can read some more about changing your Netflix region here, but in general it can not be done anymore, so you could consider watching the film on Amazon.com instead. If you have problems watching Amazon Instant Videos overseas due to lack of American payment card or lack of an American IP address, follow these instructions to start watching anyway.

San Andreas has received very average critics on IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic and other movie sites, but in the end all that matters is whether you like San Andreas or not, so take a look at the film and write your thoughts on it afterwards right here if you have some minutes to spare.

Focus on NetflixFocus is the film with Will Smith released in 2015. I remember watching this film myself, but it has not at all remained a good memory for me, so I am not a big fan of Focus. But, if you want to see it, then the question is whether or not Focus is on Netflix?

The answer to that question is that Focus just arrived to Netflix, but you can not find it in the traditional Netflix regions, meaning in the UK, in the USA or in Canada. If you want to watch Focus on Netflix you will have to tune in to Netflix in Sweden, Denmark, Finland or in Norway. Luckily that is very easy and you can watch Netflix in these nations using the method described in my Netflix region switcher article.

Luckily you do not need an additional Netflix subscription for this to work. All you need is your current Netflix subscription and then you can watch Focus on Netflix in Sweden, Denmark or Norway right away. Get an IP address in for example Norway and at once you will be able to watch Focus on Norwegian Netflix.

What is Focus about? It is a film in which Will Smith play a criminal guy who loves gambling. It all seems very dangerous and he has a hard time controlling it, and that leads him to different situations all the time.

This film could have been a big hit for me, but for some reason I did not manage to fall in love with the film, so instead I stopped watching halfway and the last half I watched some days later. Not the best! Focus has a 6,6/10 score on IMDB and a 57% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Jupiter: Ascending is a quite new film which was released in 2015 and we are so lucky that on one of the last days in 2015 the film was added to Netflix in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway. Residing somewhere else, meaning that you do not have access to Netflix in neither of the mentioned countries? No reason to cry, because you can easily get access to Scandinavian Netflix, just read my article on how to jump between Netflix regions here.

What is Jupiter: Ascending about? I have not seen it yet, but you can take a look at the Jupiter: Ascending trailer right here.

Jupiter: Ascending is a film made by the creators of the Matrix Trilogy, and this film has for sure borrowed a lot of great effects. In the main role we can find Mila Kunis who you might also know from films such as Friends with Benefits, Family Guy, Black Swan, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, The Book of Eli, Oz The Great and Powerful, Ted 2 and lots of other films. In addition you can see Channing Tatum, Eddie Redmayne whom you might remember from the Theory of Everything and Sean Bean who is the biggest star of the film whom we remember from Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings, Goldeneye and lots of other films.

If you want to watch Jupiter: Ascending then go ahead and enjoy this American-Australian production. If you have seen it I would love to hear your thoughts on the film and to know whether or not you would recommend the film to me or not!

I just noticed a new title that was added to Netflix today and it was just a coincidence that I noticed. Normally I check what is up with new titles on Netflix in USA, Canada and in the UK, but today I decided to check some more nations, and that is when I suddenly bumped into Maleficent.

What is Maleficent about?

This is a fairy tale film in which we meet Maleficent, a beautiful young girl who only wishes the best for everyone around her. We also meet a young boy who has a very good relationship to Maleficent, but because of their good relationship the betrayal is much worse as it takes place. This leads to a war between the “kingdom” of Maleficent and the new king.

This is not a film for the smallest children, but for teenagers this is a beautiful mixture of a fairy tale and an “action” film.

I did not expect much from this film as I first watched it, but after watching it I must admit that I actually enjoyed the film. I am to busy to watch it once more, but I do not regret at all the fact that I once spent about two hours watching Maleficent.

Personally this film was not much of a highlight, in fact I found it quite disappointing, but on IMDB it still enjoys a quite good ranking (6,4/10), so there has got to be some people out there that enjoyed and liked the film.
