Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle is the brand new Netflix original movie directed by Andy Serkis (who also has the voice of Baloo in the movie).
The movie was released on Netflix in December 2018, and it is one of the highest expected Netflix original movies ever. The fact that it is a Netflix original also means that it will come directly to Netflix, and that it can be seen in all sorts of Netflix regions all across the world, without any need of changing your Netflix region.
The name Andy Serkis might not say a lot to you, but this is a guy who played a part in Black Panther (the second most popular movie of all in 2018). He also played in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and so many more hot movies. And now he is taking part as a direction, but also as the character giving the fantastic, deep, voice to Baloo in the movie.
The animals do speak in Mowgli
I have some friends who can’t stand movies in which the animals speak. Well, it would be hard to create a movie like this without giving voices to the characters, so I don’t really care about that. But, when you start listening to the voices, it is still amazing. The simple fact that you listen to the fantastic voices of Christian Bale, Benedict Cumberbatch, Andy Serkis, and also Cate Blanchett is amazing. I enjoyed every moment listening to the sort of fine British English that left the mouth of the animals throughout the entire movie.

This could easily have been a successful movie in the cinema
Watching this movie on Netflix makes me wonder where the world is heading. This could easily have been a giant hit in cinemas all across the world, and it would for sure be on the list of the 50 highest grossing movies in 2018. Instead, we get to see it on Netflix straight away. That is a giant step and a big chance.
The images of the movie are stunning, and all in all, I would say that this might be one of the best and most stunning Netflix original movies ever made. I had a great time watching it, and even though it didn’t become a big favorite, I still recognize a great movie when I see one, and this was it!
Doctor Strange is the fantastic Marvel movie from 2016. In this the former Doctor played by Benedict Cumberatch, turns into a superhero named Doctor Strange. Want to watch him on Netflix?
I remember watching Doctor Strange in the cinema in November 2016. For that reason I did not actually expect Doctor Strange to come to Netflix for a little while, but I was proven wrong. On May 30th Doctor Strange will be added to US Netflix, meaning that people who live in the US, or people who know how to access US Netflix from abroad, will be able to stream Doctor Strange on Netflix from that date on.
Watch Doctor Strange on Netflix
At the moment you can watch Doctor Strange in the following Netflix regions (this will be updated frequently)
If you have further comments or questions, or maybe know of a Netflix region in which Doctor Strange can be streamed (that is not on this list), please write a comment beneath to let me know.
But, how can you get access to US Netflix? It is really easy. I am writing this article from Europe, but I am currently watching US Netflix following these instructions, so go ahead and give it a try. Since I am writing this article before the arrival of Doctor Strange to US Netflix, I am watching Captain America: Civil War instead on US Netflix at the moment (see screenshot beneath).
Sounds good? Is it worth spending two hours to watch Doctor Strange on Netflix? I was very critical to the movie when I went to the cinema to watch it. But, after watching the movie I was very glad I actually went to see it. It was nice action, good story and I had a very good time watching it. What are your thoughts on Doctor Strange? Did you like the arrival of Benedict Cumberbatch to the list of super heroes? I was very skeptical, but after watching the movie, I thought he did a great job. It was hard imagining him as this “super” kind of guy, he is after all very down to earth in his role as Sherlock Holmes in the BBC series Sherlock, but he did a great job after all!
Doctor Strange will come to Netflix in the USA in May 2017. Forrest Gump will arrive, and so will the third season of the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. What do you look forward to the most?
It is not only Kimmy Schmidt that will be launched with a new season in May on Netflix. Sense 8 will go for its second season, while Bloodline and Master of None will be launched with new seasons as well. Unfortunately (or maybe not), I am not actually watching any of these TV series myself (do not have the time), but if you are a fan, then you will for sure be happy about the arrival of these new seasons.
I am much more looking forward to Forrest Gump, a movie that I can watch over and over again. But, that might not be a big breakthrough and breaking news, since Forrest Gump has been available in different Netflix regions here and there for a long time. But, the arrival of Marvels Doctor Strange on May 30th is a much bigger news, and it will for sure make thousands of Benedict Cumerbatch and Doctor Strange fans happy. If you are outside the United States and wonder how you can get access to US Netflix abroad (so that you can watch Doctor Strange and the other content on the list of arrivals to Netflix in the USA in May 2017), follow these instructions.
It should also be mentioned that Sherlock season 4 will be made available on US Netflix in May 2017!

There you go. Now you know which titles will come to Netflix in May 2017 and you also know which titles will leave Netflix in May 2017. You should be well prepared. What are you looking forward to the most on US Netflix in May 2017? Is there any movies or TV series that you feel sad about leaving? Write a comment!
One of the most longed for TV series to continue has just arrived. Sherlock season 4 can now be seen on Netflix, at least if you live in the right country!
On January 1st in 2017 BBC aired the first out of three new episodes in their Sherlock TV series. This is a strange TV series as new episodes rarely arrive, normally with a couple of years in between the different episodes. This is the TV series that also gave Benedict Cumberbatch his great breakthrough, and since then he can be seen in great movies all over the place, like The Imitation Game, Doctor Strange, 12 Years a Slave and lots of other movies.
If you are as eager as I am to watch the latest Sherlock episode, then you can do so in different ways. The easiest way is probably to watch it on BBC iPlayer, but that is only possible if you live in the UK, and it can only be done for thirty days after the episode you want to watch was originally aired. To find out more about how you can watch BBC iPlayer from abroad, visit bbc.fromabroad.org.
But, you can also watch Sherlock season 4 in quite a lot of Netflix regions, and these are the Netflix regions in which you can watch Sherlock: The Six Thatchers at the moment. Notice that The Six Thatchers is the title of the first Sherlock episode in season 4, but as soon as new episodes will be released they will be made available on Netflix as well.
