The Knight Before Christmas – A perfect Sleeping Pill Before Christmas!

The Knight Before Christmas is the name on one of the many original Netflix productions coming at us before Christmas in 2019. I didn’t have high expectations before it all started, but somehow the movie managed to perform even worse than I expected!

I don’t care if a movie has a bad story as long as it sometimes manages to make me interested. I didn’t like Holiday in the Wild, but still, the animals were nice, and thus, I could quite easily watch the movie without getting too bored. But, The Knight Before Christmas didn’t manage to make me interested in any way. It was simply boring from the very first moment and it never managed to turn into an interesting movie.

Kristin Davis and Rob Lowe in Holiday in the Wild might be a stronger combo than Vanessa Hudgens and Josh Whitehouse in The Knight Before Christmas. I must admit, Vanessa Hudgens has fallen into the really bad B-category movies after her success with High School Musical. But, in her Netflix original movie last year named The Princess Switch, I actually had a good time (even though it was a movie with a low potential as well). So, this could have turned into a movie worth watching. However, it didn’t!

A great alternative to sleeping pills

When I started to watch The Knight Before Christmas, I had energy and looked forward to streaming it. But, it didn’t take many minutes before my eyes felt tempted to make it dark. I remained strong for 50 minutes, but then I simply fell asleep. However, my surroundings didn’t allow me to sleep for a long time, so I returned to the story after a few minutes. But, considering that things didn’t improve, I went back into sleeping mode again. Luckily, I woke up to see the happy ending, but for me, it was happy because it meant that I could brush my teeth and go to bed!

Vanessa Hudgens is cute in her role, but it doesn’t help this movie a second.

Where to watch The Knight Before Christmas?

You can watch the movie on Netflix in Canada, on Netflix in the United States, and on any other Netflix region worldwide. It is a Netflix original movie, meaning that it can be streamed on Netflix everywhere. It also means that you CANNOT stream it anywhere else. You will never find this movie on Amazon Prime, on HBO Now, or on Hulu. And I almost forget, you cannot find it on Disney+ either!

But, is it worth wasting your time on this movie? I would say no. But, if you are desperate for something that is supposed to be a romantic Christmas movie, this might be it. There are 100 times better Christmas movies on Netflix, so click the link to find out more about those.

Let me warn you… the movie only has a 5,5/10 score on IMDb, and that is terrible considering that this portal normally give grades about 6 to all movies.
