Two Days, One Night is a Belgian-French-Italian drama which was released in 2014 and it was written and directed by Luc and Jean-Pierre Dardenne. The film stars Marion Cotillard as Sandra Bya, Fabrizio Rongione as Manu, Catherine Salèe as Juliette, Oliver Gourmet as Jean-Marc and Christelle Cornil as Anne. The movie is set in Belgium in an industrial city in Liège in Seraing and it is about a young wife and mother, Sandra who works in a small solar panel factory. After she had a nervous break down and she got finally out of the hospital she has to realise that her co-workers are able to cover her ships by working slightly longer work hours and that the company offers bonuses to everyone if they agree to make Sandra redundant. Sandra quickly recognises her fate is just in the hands of her co-workers and she decides to visit each of them on the weekend to convince them not to accept the bonus from the management however most of her colleagues have families and also in need for the extra money.

Two Days, One Night generally received good and positive feedbacks they were mostly satisfied with Marion Cotillard performance. Two Days, One Night was also nominated to several awards including BAFTA Award for Best Film Not in the English Language and the movie won three Magritte Awards and also won the Sydney Film Prize at the 2014. Sydney Film Festival.
